Give your fund-raising a boost by using JustGiving

JustGiving is great and really easy to use. If you are new to JustGiving view the video above to see how it works.

Basically, your supporters sponsor you in advance using a credit card via your own JustGiving page. This funding goes direct into the bank account of your nominated charity so you do not have to handle the payment or chase sponsors for their donation after the event.

If the sponsor is a UK taxpayer the taxman will add 28 per cent to the amount, ensuring you reach your fund-raising target that bit faster.

You can create your page at www.justgiving.co.uk but if you are taking part in an official KM Charity Challenge event you need to set up a page on our JustGiving area at www.justgiving.com/kmcharityteam
