Big brains from around the county competed in the final of the KM Big Quiz at The Ashford International Hotel on Sunday.
The Supernova team, who won the Maidstone heat, came away with the trophy after beating closest rival Bonny Cravat by four points with a score of 62.
Teams earned their place in the final by coming top in one of four KM Big Quiz heats staged across the county.
The Canterbury, Maidstone, Medway and Ashford events raised almost £40,000 for good causes.
Simon Dolby, chairman of the KM Charity Team, which organises the event said:
“We are grateful to sponsors Barclays and Scottish & Newcastle who helped raise £24,000 for Kent charities, a significant contribution to the total amount achieved.”
On the night of the county final more than £1,000 was raised for the children's road safety department of the KM Charity Team.
